So, if you're going through a prolonged season of adversity right now, you can do a couple things. You can decide it's time to move on, (and if you do make that decision, I hope you're correct and that you're not just becoming adept at avoiding conflict.) But the other option is that you can decide to embrace the challenge that has been placed before you. Don't internalize the words of your critics. Don't be overly harsh on yourself either. Just accept the fact that this season isn't as easy as previous seasons, but by design, it has the capacity to help you grow like easier seasons never could.
